Title: "Unplugging the Panic: How to Survive the Election Cycle Without Losing Your Mind”

Between the relentless 24-hour news cycle, high-stakes predictions, and the urge to constantly doomscroll, it’s completely natural to feel exhausted, anxious, and overwhelmed right now. But while you can’t control the election outcome, you can control how much of your peace you give away to it.

Join us for a grounding session designed specifically to help you reclaim your calm.

In this session, you will explore:

  • The Biology of Political Stress: Why your brain treats uncertainty like a physical threat—and how to switch off your "fight-or-flight" response.

  • The Circle of Control: Practical ways to shift your energy away from macro-anxiety and focus on the micro-habits that protect your mental health.

  • Thoughts vs. Facts: Simple mindfulness techniques to label anxious thoughts so they don’t sweep you away.

  • The talk will be immediately followed by a 20-minute guided meditation focused on nervous system anchoring and deep restoration. You’ll leave with actionable tools to stay steady, grounded, and sane through election day and beyond.

No prior meditation experience required. Come as you are, and give yourself permission to step out of the storm.

Zoom opens at 6:15 pm - we start at 6:30 pm
